On April 15th, 2015, H. E. Mr. Wei Ruixing, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Lithuania presented the Letter of Credence to H. E. Dalia Grybauskaitė, President of the Republic of Lithuania.

Ambassador Wei conveyed the cordial greetings and best wishes of H. E. President Xi Jinping to H. E. President Dalia Grybauskaitė, and said although China and Lithuania are geographically far apart, the two peoples enjoy time-honored friendship. The Chinese Government attaches great importance to the friendly and cooperative relations between the two countries and is ready to work together with the Lithuanian Government and people to enhance mutual political trust, promote the friendly exchanges, deepen the mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields and push forward the sound and healthy development of the bilateral relations, on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit.

President Dalia Grybauskaitė asked Ambassador Wei to convey her warm greetings and respect to President Xi Jinping, and expressed her welcome to the Ambassador for taking his new post in Lithuania, promising to facilitate his work. President Dalia Grybauskaitė spoke highly of the friendly exchanges and cooperation in various fields between the two countries, saying that the Lithuania Government attaches importance to the development of Lithuania-China relations, and is ready to work with the Chinese Government to further strengthen the mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries in the field of trade, investment, logistic services, agriculture, culture and people-to-people exchange for the benefit of the two peoples.
