Notice on the Adjustment of Application Procedures For Chinese Visa

Effective from today,the application procedures for entry  visa to China are adjusted as follows:

1. Applicants who fall into in the category of resumption of work and production (including business, science and technology, education, sports, culture etc.) can apply visa for business(M), visit(F) and work categories(Z) by providing the documents required before the Covid-19 pandemic. PU invitation letter from relevant Chinese organizations is not required. 

2. Those travelling to China for working purposes may apply for a work visa with a valid “Foreigner’s Work Permit” or the “Foreigner Work Permit Notice”. PU invitation letter is not needed. Family members of the aforementioned individuals (including foreign nationals who are currently working in China) may apply for visas for family reunion by providing proof of kinship and other relevant documents. PU invitation letter is not needed. 

Family members in this regard refer to spouses, parents, children under the age of 18 and parents-in-law.

3. Non-Chinesefamily members of Chinese citizens and foreign nationals with permanent residency status in China may apply for family visitation or reunification visas with proof of kinship and other application documents. 

Family members in this regard include spouse, parents, parents-in-law, child, childs spouse,sister and brother, grandparents and grandchildren. 

Applicants of aforementioned visas are required to have the COVID-19 vaccinations approved by China orthe World Health Organization for emergency use before entry to China.
