Q: It is reported that on October 3, the Sudanese Transitional Government and the Sudan Revolutionary Front, the main opposition armed coalition, formally signed a comprehensive peace agreement in Juba, capital of South Sudan. What is China's comment?

A: China welcomes and supports the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Agreement between the Sudanese Transitional Government and the main opposition forces. This will help Sudan continue to steadily advance the political transition process and we hope that relevant parties in Sudan will fully implement the Comprehensive Peace Agreement. China is ready to work with the international community to continue to play a constructive role in promoting peace, stability and development of Sudan.
