On February 19, 2014, Vice Foreign Minister Cheng Guoping held consultations with Tajik Deputy Foreign Minister Nizomiddin Zohidov in Beijing.

Both sides had an in-depth exchange of views on China-Tajikistan relations, bilateral high-level exchanges, practical cooperation, as well as international and regional topics of common interest. The two sides agreed to well implement the consensus reached by the two heads of state, comprehensively deepen mutually beneficial cooperation in all areas and push forward the bilateral strategic partnership continuously.
