President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

On February 27, 2014, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

Zhang Yue was appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Liberia, replacing Zhao Jianhua.

Zhao Jianhua was appointed Ambassador to the Republic of the Philippines, replacing Ma Keqing.

Liu Xianfa was appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Kenya, replacing Liu Guangyuan.

Sun Lijie was appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Uzbekistan, replacing Zhang Xiao.

Ma Keqing was appointed Ambassador to the Czech Republic, replacing Yu Qingtai.

Yu Qingtai was appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Finland, replacing Huang Xing.

Qiu Guohong was appointed Ambassador to the Republic of Korea, replacing Zhang Xinsen.
