In recent years, Tianjin has resolutely implemented the new development concept, and its cause of reform and opening up is beaming with vigor. As a land-sea intersection in the construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and an important pivot in the economic corridor of the new Eurasian Land Bridge, Tianjin has once again stood at the forefront of the new round of reform and opening up since General Secretary Xi Jinping's proposal of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Wang Yi said that next week, China will hold the second Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation in Beijing. We will uphold the principle of extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits, take mutual benefit and win-win results as guidance and connectivity as the mainline, and push the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative for high-quality development, so as to join hands in building an open world economy, open up broader space for international economic cooperation, and provide stronger impetus for global development and prosperity.

Wang Yi stressed that opening up and cooperation is an irreversible trend of the times, and also the continuous driving force of China's development. China will open its door wider, and China's development will bring more and more opportunities. The path of win-win cooperation between China and the rest of the world will also be widened.
