Assistant Foreign MInister Shen Guofang met with the delegation led by Slobodan Orlić, Director of Information Directorate of Serbia and Montenegro. Shen said that China and Serbia and Montenegro enjoy traditional friendship and have wide cooperation in such areas as economy and trade, science and technology and culture. China is ready to work with the Serbia and Montenegro government to jointly further the development of bilateral ties. The exchanges and cooperation of media play an especially important role in the bilateral relations and it is hoped that the media of both countries strengthen exchanges and cooperation and serve as the bridge and link for the steady development of the bilateral ties.

Ambassador of Serbia and Montenegro to China Dragan Momcilovic was also present at the meeting.
