Li Yuanchao Meets with Special Envoy of Moroccan King

On April 19, 2013, Vice President Li Yuanchao met with Taib Fassi Fihri, special envoy of Moroccan King Mohammed VI in Beijing.

China and Morocco have seen healthy and stable development in bilateral ties since the two countries first established diplomatic relations, Li said, adding that bilateral cooperation has been fruitful in all areas. He said China attaches great importance to developing ties with Morocco and is willing to promote bilateral relations to a higher level on the basis of mutual respect, equality and mutual benefit so as to benefit both countries and their peoples.

Fihri said Morocco views China as a strategic partner and is ready to work with China to boost bilateral friendly cooperation to a new level.
