On December 25, 2010, the result of the recommendations and comprehensive influence assessment of excellent Chinese government websites 2010 was officially released in Beijing. The website of the Foreign Ministry (www.mfa.gov.cn ) got "the most influential Chinese government website award 2010" and "the advanced Chinese government website award 2010". The website of the International Press Center (IPC) won "the most popular Chinese website award 2010".

The Foreign Ministry website harvested the same two awards last year and it is the first time that the IPC receives the award.

Under the organization of www.ceirp.com and the Information Research and Promotion Center of the Electronic Technology Information Research Institute of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the influence, administrative services, innovative development and performance of nearly 50,000 government and administrative service websites at different levels were assessed comprehensively.

In addition, the Foreign Ministry website also won the "user experience award" in the fifth campaign of selecting distinctive Chinese government websites organized by the Center for Informatization Study of the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and the government website assessment and research center of www.echinagov.com.
