On October 1st, 2017, H. E. Mr. Linas Linkevičius, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Lithuania, sent a Letter of Congratulations to Chinese Foreign Minister, H. E. Mr. Wang Yi, on the occasion of the 68th Anniversary of the Founding of the People’s Republic of China.

“Lithuania and China share a warm friendship that is underpinned by frequent high-level visits, robust economic cooperation, joint participation in the 16+1 platform and close people-to-people links. The friendship between Lithuania and China has been strengthened over the years. Our bilateral cooperation is multi-faceted and it has developed on the priorities and needs of our two countries”, said Foreign Minister Linas Linkevičius in his Letter of Congratulations, and sincerely wished China and its people peace and prosperity.
