On February 10, 2005, Foreign Minister Li Zhaoxing met in Beijing with Indian Ambassador to China Nalin Surie. Both sides expressed the New Year greetings and good wishes of the leaders of the two countries to each other. Li said that this year marks the 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between China and India. China is willing to make joint efforts with India to promote the continuous development of China-India good-neighborly friendship and mutually beneficial cooperative relations. Both sides also exchanged opinions on the international and regional issues of common concern. |
